Russell Skelton is the Director of RMIT ABC Fact Check and its research partner RMIT FactLab. Previously, he was the founding editor of ABC Fact Check. Russell has held senior editorial positions at Fairfax, the ABC and News Limited.
He has won numerous awards for his journalism, including a Walkley for best book, King Brown Country – the betrayal of Papunya and the Grant Hattam Quill and the George Munster awards for investigative journalism. A graduate of Monash University, he was a Fulbright scholar and International Professional Journalism Fellow at Stanford University.
