PETER KAMSTRA

Dr Peter Kamstra is an Associate Investigator at the ADM+S Centre’s Swinburne University node. His research uses spatial analytics and ‘big data’ in partnership with multiple social purpose organisations to address Australia’s contemporary community health problems. His work produces applied insights that can be used to improve community mental health services, bushfire emergency response and drowning prevention.

Peter’s current research, as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Social Innovation Research Institute (SIRI) at Swinburne University, explores rural health services, social media practices and publics with an emphasis on mixed methods GIS-based analyses.
